home for the holidays ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป

it’s my favorite time of year! many of you know that I’m absolutely obsessed with all things Christmas, and I wanted to share some of those favorite Christmasy things with all of you. These home goods and special treats help put me in the spirit, lift my mood, and make me feel all warm and fuzzy โ€” I hope they do the same for you!

Home Fragrance (Candles & Soaps)

OK so like, I’m OBSESSED with Christmas candles and fragrances. I’d say “it’s actually a problem” but so far I’ve noticed no negative side effects so we’re in the clear. I love the smells of Christmas and to me, they bring up all sorts of festive and happy memories. Hence, I can’t just recommend one Christmas candle (or soap, or potpourri) โ€” so here are some of my favorites!

1. Molton Brown: Frankincense & Allspice Hand Wash
Listen I know it’s a ridiculous amount to spend on hand soap but if you’re like me and have a weird hyper-fixation on Christmas smells, this will be well worth it.  It’s like a gift from baby Jesus to your hands.

2. Voluspa Gilt Pomander & Hinoki Candles
This rich and sumptuous scent is spicy, a little sweet, and is somewhat like the velvet of candles โ€” it’s just so smooth. It comes in beautiful mercury glass containers which makes for a lovely decoration.

3. Sur La Table White Peppercorn Candle
This is like the perfect “fresh and spicy” candle, and it works well beyond Christmas (I got this just before Thanksgiving). Clean and light but noticeable, this isn’t too frou frou or sweet and adds a sort of vibrance to the room.

4. Paddywax Cinnamon & Spice Candle
This has been super difficult to find lately but smells DELISH especially if you vibe the more cinnamon-scented candles.

5. Bath & Body Works Fresh Balsam Candle
This is a classic staple. My go-to used to be Yankee Candle’s “Home For Christmas” that was a Target exclusive, but I haven’t been able to find it this year. I straight up emailed Yankee and they ghosted me. Anyway, this one is v similar and it’s piney and delightful and v accessible because there’s a B&BW in like every city I’m pretty sure.

6. Williams Sonoma Winter Berry Collection
Just do yourself a favor and buy every single part of this collection โ€” soaps, creams, candle, diffuser, potpourri, etc. It’s heavenly.

7. Nest Holiday Candles
Ok so this is like, the holy grail of Christmas candles. These are absurdly expensive but IMO 1000% worth it. One year I’m going to go for it and get the $200 one but at present I don’t think I could live with myself for dropping that much on scented wax.

Not Pictured: Function of Beauty Holiday Shampoo/Conditioner (Get $5 off with this link), specifically, the “naughty or spice” scent (with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla โ€” straight up Christmas cookie), and the red/green combo. My hair is SO MUCH SOFTER AND SHINIER NOW. It’s unreal. I’m totally hooked on this, and yes, I bought it from an Instagram ad.

Cozy At Home (Clothes etc)

I own most of these, but there are one or two things on my holiday wish list that I might have to snag. Use these to get all comfy cozy at home โ€” maybe put on a face mask, do some journaling, watch Christmas Vacation for the 18,284,359th time…. just me? ok…

8. J.Crew Tartan Pajama Pants
I feel like J.Crew tartan PJ bottoms are a must in every holiday closet. Classic, cozy, and timeless. Perfect for curling up with a book with some of those candles burning and Burl Ives playing in the background.

9. Disney Fair Isle Pajama Pants
I had to grab these when I saw them at the park. They scream “nostalgia” and give me the warm and fuzzies both in my heart and on my legs.

10. Disney Christmas Apron
Did I buy this at Disneyland in October? Maybe. Will I now wear it every Christmas season? Absolutely.

11. Madewell Forest Green Velvet Culottes
Life hack: wear dress pants that feel like sweatpants all winter long. Bonus: they have an elastic waistband, which made Thanksgiving extremely chill. These are the comfiest fancy-pants I’ve ever owned, and the deep green velvet makes them so festive.

12. Madewell Cable Knit Sweater
I’ve been wearing this cozy sweater nonstop since I got it. It’s a fun and stylish take on a classic cable knit that can be paired with so many pieces.

13. UGG Slippers
My boots are among my favorite possessions, but they’re a bit clunky for homewear so these slippers are on my mega wish list.

18. Pier 1 Holiday Pillows
These are some of the cutest holiday pillows I’ve seen at a somewhat affordable price. I ended up making most of my holiday pillow covers this year but picked up a few accents from Pier 1. And they’re on clearance right now. Grab em while still they’re here! I’m totally getting this Golden Retriever one, for obvious reasons.

Not Pictured: One Day In December, A Novel
I’m about to curl up by the fireside with this book from Reese Witherspoon’s book club and my girl Hailey’s book club that I just so happen to be in. Will update you when I’m done reading it, but it’s only $11 on Amazon!

Not Pictured: Music
Speaking of Burl Ives, I’m constantly updating my CHRISTMAS JAMZ playlist on Spotify. Follow and listen here!

Treats (Tea, Coffee, & Chocolate)

It wouldn’t be Christmas unless I were burying my face in a mountain of gingerbread, eggnog, Starbucks red cups, toasty drinks, etc etc.

14. David’s Tea Sleigh Ride
Listen, I’m obsessed with David’s Tea โ€” ESPECIALLY the holiday collection. Sleigh Ride is for sure a top favorite, but be sure to check out Let It Snow, Alpine Punch, Cardamom French Toast, Candy Cane Crush, Santa’s Secret, and like… every other Christmas flavor they have.

15. Starbucks Juniper Latte
My go-to is forever chestnut praline, but this year’s addition to the Starbs red-cup-lineup is absolutely fantastic. Fresh, subtle, herbacious, and clean โ€” totally not what I’d expect to want in a latte, but so SO delicious. Pair it with a sugar plum danish… just trust me OK?!

16. Drink Tea & Be Merry Mug
Like the teas, the entire DT mug collection for the holidays is to die for. I have about 8 or 9 of the Christmas mugs (I’m fine this is fine) but I’m obsessed with this one and might have to round it out with 10 mugs.

17. Tcho Eggnog Chocolate
If you can find this chocolate anywhere, BUY IT IN BULK. Holy shit fam, it is SO GOOD. Eggnog lovers, you’ll flip over it. Such great quality, no artificial/fake taste, no weird after taste. It’s like solid eggnog. Unreal. It’s sold out online but I know they’re in stores.

19. David’s Tea Flamingo Santa Tumbler
OK last DT product I swear โ€” but how freakin cute is this Santa flamingo?! Perfect for tea, cocoa, or coffee on the go :)
