casual holiday style // rocksbox month 1

I love when you keep a piece in your closet for a few years, and eventually it has its revival and reemergance. This was the case for my oxblood skinnies from 2012.  The burgundy trend doesn’t seem to be phasing out any time soon, so I rolled out my under-bed storage containers and busted out these bad boys for their re-arrival on the scene. The scene being my legs. I imagine that my pants, which have feelings, obviously, feel just like Britney circa 2011, rising like a phoenix from the flames.

The temps have finally begun to drop in beautiful Southern California – all hope has not been lost. So, for today’s ootd, I topped the skinnies off with a cozy hi-low sweater from Madewell and some leopard calf hair smoking slippers. Then come the jewels: gold ear crawlers, a delicate gold layered necklace, and a gorgeous geometric bangle from House of Harlow.

About The Jewelry:
This is the first set I’ve received from Rocksbox, and I couldn’t be happier. I answered a few questions about my personal style and how I wear jewelry, and made a quick wishlist. A stylist went in and created this set of three specifically based on my taste and preferences, which made the experience feel very personal – she even left a note (s/o to Adrienne, she’s rad). When I’m ready for a new set, I can return or purchase any of these pieces, as much as I want, and keep refreshing my look. Pretty cool concept, right? You can’t get bored… and I’m so thrilled my stylist knows GOLD ONLY for me. Maybe I’ll dabble with some rose gold next month.
