A color/texture combo I’m obsessed with: soft ballet pink with edgy, black leather (faux, if you’re like me). There’s something about the juxtaposition (sorry for using pretentious words) of the innocent, delicate blush and the tougher, bolder leather that makes me really happy. Throw in some leopard print, because why not? This isn’t the first time I’ve played with this combo (experience some colder-weather deja vu here)… and it definitely won’t be the last!

Of note: I have annoyingly specific taste, and I’m often in search of an impossible/non-existent product, so when I found “calf hair leopard print pointy toe d’orsay flats” from Steve Madden, I was beyond thrilled. As to whether or not I’ll find “oatmeal cable knit (with diamond pattern in center) crewneck sweater” or “light taupe wool felt unstructured fedora” … TBD.
