almost autumn

It’s the beautiful season of almost autumn right now, where it’s confusingly sunny and warm, but you’ve already put most of your summer clothes in your under-bed storage and replenished your closet with sweaters. Oh, that’s just me? Okay nevermind.

But still… especially if you live outside this area, you’re probably planning trips to apple orchards, eating/drinking anything and everything related to pumpkin, scavenging for deciduous trees to instagram… wait is this still just me??

Okay well… it’s almost autumn/actually autumn everywhere else (we established that the official start date was Wednesday; the weather is still ignoring the calendar, good 4 u weather), so I’m mixing in a cozy oversized sweater with some floral shorts and gold sandals. And my grown-ass-woman-handbag. I threw a fishtail french braid into my top knot and put on some pink lipstick to class things up a little. Also I still shop at the teenager store and realize my size is called “most” because I can still fit into “one-size-fits-most” clothes.
