I’m not ready for fall, fall style, fall colors, back-to-school, or any of that nonsense. Nor will I be for quite some time. After all, it’s basically summer through October in San Diego. So for now, let’s appreciate the height of summer and all it has to offer.

One of the best parts of summertime is the freedom to incorporate swimwear into streetwear. It’s one of my favorite things… and the best way to go from a salty beach day straight to lunch on the coast. Actually, now that I think of it, is this concept only acceptable in San Diego? Please advise, readers. There’s a (strong) chance that I may be out of touch with the rest of the world.

I paired this one-piece from Sofia by ViX with some denim cut-offs & converse (and wild, unstyled hair) for a casual afternoon with Arielle (which naturally included some seaside margaritas).
