This weekend was pretty dreamy, so I wanted to share a few photos from my activities, and my friend Erica’s gorgeous Sunday brunch in her backyard in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
Saturday started with a beach walk & cold-pressed coffee (from Choice, my favorite!) with my friend Amy. The weather was perfect and it was so nice to get some sun on my skin while we got some girl time together.
I went to the farmer’s market with my mom, where I picked up some Tuberose, Snapdragons and Russian Sage – my new favorite addition to bouquets. It’s absolutely gorgeous and such a cool texture.
I left for LA Saturday evening to meet up with friends and grab some dinner and drinks.
Sunday morning brought beautiful weather, a beautiful brunch, and beautiful friends. My friends Erica and Olivia created a gorgeous setting, complete with chic springtime linens, fresh flowers, and an incredible meal (honestly I’m kind of embarrassed but one of my top weekend highlights was the truffle breakfast potatoes).
I got to catch up with so many of my college friends – I missed these girls (and our time at our sorority, which mostly consisted of dancing in our rooms and getting late night del taco) so much, and it was awesome to have a little reunion. I can’t wait for the next one :)
Sunday afternoon was a bunch of LA traffic on my way back to see my girls Caroline & Jen for a sunset hike at Torrey Pines. I used to come here a ton as a little girl, I remember my dad taking my brother and me during the week and it always felt like such an adventure. The views are stunning, and it was the perfect wind down to the weekend.
A pretty successful girls weekend, if I do say so myself. It’s easy to take that time for granted – the older I get, the harder it seems to get everyone together – so I’m really grateful for the amazing women in my life, and the effort they put into making time for girl time :)
xx,
Dominique
you remember :) xo One of my favorite places!
